Alma de Cuba: Lechon Asado
Note to self and to others:
If you ever go to Alma de Cuba, order the Lechon Asado. According to the menu, it is "Crisp roasted pork with traditional sour orange mojo served with congri (red beans and white rice) and sweet plantains." Crisp doesn't even begin to describe the texture of the thing: it's crisp and chewy and sticks to your teeth and is delicious in a most indescribable way. So go get some already!
