Farfalle with Salmon and Leeks

When I lived in Florence, I once had lunch at a restaurant on the Oltrarno that served a dish of farfalle with salmon and leeks. I don't remember much about the dish -- for example, I don't know if they only used fresh salmon, or whether there was smoked salmon involved -- but I do remember that it was delicious. This was my recent attempt to recreate that dish. I sautéed some leeks until they were soft, added chunks of fresh salmon, and turned the whole thing into a sauce by adding some white wine, shrimp stock, and cream. It sounds simple, but somehow the combination of everything was perfectly creamy and delicious. I can't say if it matched the dish I had in Florence, but it was good enough for me.
